Particularly I want to know:
1.Is the first sentence correct?
2. Is it ok to write "I am sold on the perspective to develop and calibrate scores." or is this to informal?
3. What is correct "I look forward to speaking with you about this employment
opportunity."or "I am looking forward to speak with you about this employment opportunity"?

Dear Mr XYZ,

As a diploma holder in mathematics specialised in statistics I am well familiar with data analytics and statistical methods. During my research internship at XYZ University I gained experience in the application of statistical procedures. Thereby I developed all necessary algorithms by my self and implemented them in Maple. The application of mathematical methods in the field of risk managament fascinates me since I was faced with it in my minor subject business economy. I could gain insights into practice because of my job as a working student in the field of business risk mangement. I am sold on the perspective to develop and calibrate NIBs. I am ambitious, team-minded, highly motivated and eager to learn. Due to my experiences, my qualifications and my characteristics I feel ready to meet the challenges of the offered position.

I could start in mid-July or August this year and I want to work in full-time. I would be very glad
about a salary around XX 000 £ (gross). I look forward to speaking with you about this employment
