I am wondering about one line from the lyrics of the song: Right Said Fred - I'm Too Sexy
"I shake my little touche on the catwalk"
The word in question is "touche", as it is stated in all the online lyrics I found. None of the definitions for the French loanword "touché" http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?ter...
makes sense in this context.
The word in the song is much more pronounced as in "tuches" with the ending "-es" omitted, as I know it from the Yiddish/Hebrew http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/tuches
, which means "ass, buttocks, rear end" in English, and would make sense in that context as in "to shake my little ass on the catwalk".
Are there a) other meanings for the French loanword "touché" in English which would make sense in that context, or can it b) be assumed that "Right Said Fred" indeed meant the Yiddish word "tuches"?
