Comment		Der Eintrag muss korrigiert werden, da bin ich mit dir einer Meinung. Allerdings haut dein Korrekturvorschlag m. E. auch nicht hin. Ein Wasserfall ist ein Naturschauspiel, aber kein "freak of nature". Eine gewisse Schnittmenge sehe ich zwischen "freak of nature" und "Laune der Natur" (wobei die Natur dabei offenbar häufig gerade schlechte Laune hatte). http://www.google.de/images?hl=de&num=10&lr=... http://www.google.de/images?hl=de&num=10&lr=...

Comment		Mit meiner Ablehnung des "Naturspiels" war ich dann doch etwas voreilig. Aber ein obs. oder veraltet könnte es spendiert bekommen.

Comment		"Veraltet" scheint mir zutreffend und sinnvoll bei Naturspiel. "freak of nature" = "Laune der Natur" "play of nature" = "Naturschauspiel" würde ich meinen.

Comment		"Naturspiel" habe ich noch nie gehört, vor allem nicht in diesem Sinne. Ob es früher gebräuchlich war, kann ich nicht sagen (ich kann mich auch nicht erinnern, es jemals in älteren Büchern gelesen zu haben), aber dass es in modernem Deutsch bekannt ist, halte ich für sehr unwahrscheinlich. Die Gleichsetzung "freak of nature" = "Laune der Natur" ist übrigens schon in LEO, nur eben zur Kenntnisnahme. Wenn man "Naturspiel" als Vokabel drinlassen wollte, dann wäre - den Google-Treffern zufolge - wohl eher die Bedeutung "outdoor game" gängig.
