Wäre diese Redewendung entsprechend?
Reines Interesse... inhaltlich ist klar, was der Satz sagen will.

I'm assuming you mean the English? "For brevity" is not really idiomatic, IMO. Better would be: To be brief, ...

If you are looking for the English, then dude is correct. Also "for brevity's sake," "for the sake of brevity" ... "for brevity" is definitely not something I'd say, nor do I think I have ever read it.

Also, "large diversity" seems off. Perhaps "great deal of diversity" would be better.

The points you are criticising are in the given text! I was looking for the german equivalent.
The text is a paper on agricultural sustainability written by an American University professor
