    Ich habe bei Linguee "proceeds" gefunden, bin mir aber nicht sicher, ob das hier so passt. Evtl. vielleicht "The funds freed during the IPO in October 2012..."?

    of course IPO = Initial Public Offering = Börsengang, what else could it be? But Rotkehlchen did not ask this.

    I don't see a problem with "proceeds from the IPO", especially since your text comes from Switzerland.

    Incidentally, [finan.] and [Schweiz] vanish as soon as you click on "answer".
