Rate of fire is the frequency at which a specific weapon can fire or launch its projectiles. It is usually measured in rounds per minute
(RPM or round/min), or rounds per second (RPS or round/s).http://www.linguee.de/englisch-deutsch/uebers...
Equipped with an electronic ignition coil, the maximum rate of fire of the 3,307 mm-long MK 30-2 is approximately 700 rounds per minute
, according to the manufacturer.

How to calculate rpm (rounds per minute)
If I say the radius of the impeller is 1m, is it enough information to calculate its' rounds per minute ?
And what is the formula ?
Best AnswerRPM is revolutions per minute
, first off. Radius is half a circle so the circumfrence of the circle is 2m, so 1m is your radius.
so if you have a full circle of 2m, then you have to take the speed and multiply it by the size of the rotating object (presumably the circle)
