It is, Robyn, and many people here try to help students when they can. But laalaa has a point that you seem to be trying to translate a massive text well above your reading level. The nice LEO volunteers, many of whom are themselves professional translators, have spent a lot of time hand-holding (that's what noli meant by ABC's), patiently pointing out basic grammar errors (as penguin says, helping you find the subject, verb, and object) and failure to use the dictionary on your part (not knowing what word Evangelien is the plural of). A few paragraphs for a few days was okay, and it's great for you personally to work through an entire text to improve your reading comprehension. But you really are still far from able to produce a finished translation for someone else, much less for pay (link in #12 above: "I am getting compensated," you said). I don't want to hurt your feelings, but I can understand why some people might not think it's fair to expect this forum to do such a large part of your job for you -- or, for that matter, to allow your professor to think you read German better than you really can.
