There is nothing empirically wrong with the existing entry, except that the existing entry is:
wood from decidUous trees
And, rather than a correction, a proposed additional entry should be:
but it should be marked as commercial since it is a specialized term used primarily in the timber industry -- the wood is not deciduous, the tree the wood comes from is deciduous.
EDIT: a better & more commonly used distinction in English is hardwood (wood from deciduous trees, as well as the tree itself & forests made up of deciduous trees) versus softwood (wood from coniferous trees, as well as the tree itself, but rarely for the forest made up of coniferous trees)
