technische Beschreibung eines druckbasierten Durchflussreglers zur Erfassung einer anormalen Durchflussrate

in dem Text kommen noch andere "circuits" vor ("alarm circuit" und "memory circuit") - ich weiß leider nicht, ob hier für "circuit" immer "Kreis" gemeint ist oder eben "Schaltung" ; kann mir jemand erklären, wie es im obigen Kontext richtig heißen soll?
