It's just an addition to the existing entries, so I support the general idea, but it needs to be in the singular, and the gender issue needs to be addressed.
The version with -woman or -women, though theoretically possible, isn't very widespread. It's more common nowadays just to say 'plainclothes officer,' which is actually a much higher priority to add.
And while we're at it, 'police officer,' the modern gender-neutral term, is also extremely common and also appears to be missing from LEO.
Some of these may be chiefly AE; BE may have something like 'constable' instead of, or in addition to, 'officer.'
