Accounts payable (money which a company owes to vendors for products and services purchased on credit) = Verbindlichkeiten aus Lieferungen und Leistungen.

Accounts payable ist nur ein Teil der Verbindlichkeiten (liabilities).

Perhaps it would help to know:

1) Was the original phrase "Forderungen und Verbindlichkeiten gegenüber verbundenen Unternehmen"(or something similar)?

2) Is AE or BE needed?

This might be something like: amounts owed by and to group/affiliated undertaking/companies".

That should read: undertakings

Ist wohl am ehesten mit "Aktiven und Passiven" (rein buchhalterisch der Oberbegriff) zu übersetzen.

Forderungen im Sinne von Rechnungen an Kunden: accounts receivable
Verbindlichkeiten im Sinne von Rechnungen von Lieferanten: accounts payable

Es gibt noch weitere (Unter)Gruppierungen bei den Aktiven (z.B. prepaid expenses oder cash and bank accounts) wie auch bei den Passiven (z.B. tax liabilities, provisions).

Z 5 “Claims and liabilities arising from financial operations with non-resident financial institutions”;
Z 5a sheet 1 “Claims and liabilities arising from financial operations with non-resident non-banks”;
Z 5a sheet 2 “Claims and liabilities vis-à-vis non-residents arising from transactions in goods and services” (export claims and import liabilities including advance payments made and received).

my 2cts: Üblicherweise spezifiziert man Forderungen und Verbindlichkeiten:
*Forderungen und Verbindlichkeiten aus Lieferungen und Leistungen* =
Accounts receivables & accounts payable.
Schließt man andere Forderungen mit ein wie z.B. gegenüber verbunden Unternehmen ist es üblich in der Bilanz auszuweisen: accounts receivable and others assets.
Assets & Liabilities sind die kompletten Aktiva und Passiva
