Ich kenne nur Spinnweben mit insgesamt drei n.

Genauer: das Spinnweben Sing.(?), die Spinnweben Pl. --- die Spinnwebe Sing. (in LEO) habe ich bisher noch nirgens gelesen oder gehört
(zum Englischen kann ich nichts beitragen, in Spinnenliteratur liest man meistens nur 'web')

Ich kenne sowohl Spinnwebe als auch Spinnweben - wobei ersteres IMO nie für ein ganzes Netz verwendet wird, sondern eher für einzelne Fäden, die einem auffallen.
(a la "schon wieder so eine blöde Spinnwebe in meinem Haar!")

In Ermangelung verfügbarer guter Quellen habe ich jetzt allerdings beim Googeln so schnell keinen Beleg gefunden, obiges ist also rein _meine_ Erfahrung.

Der Duden kennt durchaus die Spinnwebe:
1. Spinn|we|be, die; -, -n [mhd. spinne(n)weppe, ahd. spinnunweppi, 2. Bestandteil mhd. weppe, ahd. weppi ...

I have to say I would usually say spider's web, too, but my OUP English Dictionary also knows spiderweb:

Eventuell könnte man die LEO-Plural-Einträge löschen und den m.E. gebräuchlicheren Plural Spinnweben in die Singular-Einträge integrieren.

@Holger - if so, then it *has* to be with the recognised correct BE spelling: spider's web, at least as a variant.

@odondon irl --- I don't disagree, just copied the current LEO entries. I only wanted to point out that although 'die Spinnwebe' might actually be correct, the more common German term is 'Spinnweben' (not sure whether this is plural or singular though).

Im deutschen ist es m.E. so:
Spinnwebe ist korrekt, das Wort wird jedoch normalerweise im Plural gebraucht
-> "da drüben sind Spinnweben."
Spinnennetz wird normalerweise im Singular gebraucht
-> "da drüben ist ein Spinnennetz / sind Spinnweben."
Ich glaube nicht, dass ich jemals sagen würde "da drüben sind Spinnennetze"
