*sigh* I've just realised that the comment
has also become difficult to read. Let's try it again with even bigger gaps.
Hello again, 1-1111. Therefore, a nitrided steel can not be a semi-finished part.
No-one has suggested here that the English term "nitrided steel" refers to a semi-finished product.
Perhaps we are talking at cross-purposes. As I understand it, the point you are making is: Nitrierstahl has not yet been nitrided and therefore it is nitridable steel. However, I wonder if you
have understood yet that the English term used in the industry for steel that can be nitrided or, to use your English, that is nitridable is "nitriding steel" and is already in the dictionary:Dictionary: Nitrierstahl

"nitridable steel" is not a commonly used term.
Therefore, there is little point in replacing nitrided steel - Nitrierstahl
with nitridable steel - Nitrierstahl
"nitrided steel" is a commonly used term and needs a German translation.
So, how about replacing nitrided steel - Nitrierstahl
with nitrided steel - nitrierter Stahl
