unter "Fehler melden". Es wäre schön, wenn hier noch weitere Kommentare zu
dem Eintrag/Thema gepostet würden.


Finde ich nicht richtig, insb. die zweite Übersetzung. Die Übersetzung (ebenso in Leo vorhanden) "Politik des äußersten Risikos" trifft eher. Brinkmanship ist, wenn man das Risiko eingeht, dass sein Verhandlungspartner eher den Nerv verliert als sich selbst.

The AE variant brinkSmanship is missing.

I don't think any of the current entries are great. "Politik am Rande des Abgrunds" in particular should be deleted: supported. Note that the term is not restricted to politics. It is also used in negotiation and game theory. IMHO, an entry with 'gefährliches Spiel' would be better than the existing ones.

@w: Most Google hits for 'Risikopolitik' are about corporate policies dealing with risk. I cannot find any text where it means brinkmanship rather than risk management. Would you have some references?
