- The following ad specifications apply to bookings placed directly with LEO GmbH. For bookings placed with diva-e, other specifications and conditions may apply. Please follow the link to contact diva-e directly.
Banner advertising
Campaigns run over a period of 7 days (starting Mondays) and the placement is owned by a single advertiser (no banner rotation). All prices are subject to VAT. For bookings of over €500 (net), the standard commission of 15% is available to agencies.
Unless otherwise agreed, the following ad specs apply to our banner formats:
- Die Bannergröße beträgt 970x250 Pixel ("Large Billboard"), 800x250 Pixel ("Billboard") oder 728x90 Pixel ("Leaderboard")
- Maximum file size: 200 KB
- Our creative guidelines are based on our user profile and the type of service we offer. We only accept GIF, JPEG or PNG. Banners may be animated.
- Please note that Flash files, pop-up or pop-under banners will not be accepted.
- For performance reasons, banners need to be hosted on our ad server. Third-party hosting is not possible.
- Rates per week start from approx. EUR100
Campaigns start on Mondays approx. 8:45 am (CET / CEST). Reportings and invoices are sent out after the end of the campaign.
Smartphone advertising
Unless otherwise agreed, the following ad specs apply to mobile banners:
- To ensure ads display correctly on different sized screens we deliver two formats in parallel:
- 640 x 100 for smaller screens (mobiles) with a maximum file size of approx. 60kb
- 1456 x 180 for larger screens (tablets) with a maximum file size of approx. 200kb
- Our creative guidelines are based on our user profile and the type of service we offer. We only accept GIF, JPEG (no animation allowed) or PNG. GIF and PNG formats may be animated.
- The deployment of the “best” advertisement in each case is carried out by our servers on the basis of the specifications requested by the device. In Landscape mode, the banner is displayed vertically on the left-hand edge of the screen as before. If necessary (i.e. when the system bar would otherwise cover part of the advertisement), the banner will be scaled (slightly).
- Please note that Flash files, pop-up or pop-under banners will not be accepted.
- For performance reasons, banners need to be hosted on our ad server. Third-party hosting is not possible.
Free reservations
You can reserve individual advertising positions for certain periods free of charge. The reservation can be withdrawn at any time. If another advertising partner is willing to make a binding booking of the reserved advertising position for the reserved period, we will inform you of this and give you the opportunity to change your reservation into a binding booking. You will have 7 days to do this following our request. If you do not change the reservation into a binding booking within this period, your reservation will be cancelled and the advertising position for the reserved period will be assigned to the other interested party.
LEO can assume no liability for the fact that - for reasons beyond LEO's control - our request to change the free reservation into a binding booking does not reach you.
Cancellation Policy
Stornierungen können Sie kostenlos bis Freitag, 12 Uhr (MEZ/MESZ) vor dem jeweiligen Schaltungsbeginn vornehmen. Es genügt der rechtzeitige Eingang bei uns. Für spätere Stornierungen berechnen wir jeweils 1/7 des Gesamtbetrags je angebrochenem Tag der Buchung, mindestens jedoch 1/7 des Gesamtbetrags.

Eine Schaltung ist ab Montag, den 2.12.2024 gebucht. Damit gilt in diesem Beispiel:
- Stornierung bis Freitag, 29.11.2024, 12 Uhr: komplett kostenlos
- Stornierung zwischen Freitag, 29.11.2024, 12:01 Uhr und Montag, 2.12.2024, 23:59 Uhr: wir berechnen 1/7 der Buchungskosten
- Stornierung Dienstag, den 3.12.2024: wir berechnen 2/7 der Buchungskosten
- Stornierung Mittwoch, den 4.12.2024: wir berechnen 3/7 der Buchungskosten.
- … und so weiter.
