"supported by" is more common but "supported through" seems to be better in some cases (941.000 hits in google).
please could somebody explain the difference, I need the correct by/through for my examples:

It is discovered which action fields are supported by the processes.
The feature is supported by TYPO3 Shop, Veyton, VirtueMart and Magento.
Newsletters are basic functions and are supported by all packages.

How is the support of action fields of product policy through open source packaged software?
The producer's product differentiation forms the basis for mass-customization, which is best supported through product bundles in Magento.
Action fields of product policy get support through online shop features.

    Many thanks.

To over-simplify somewhat: "by" indicates the agent/actor and "through" indicates the instrument; so both could be used in the same sentence.

"Through" is similar to "by means of".
