    Is the correct translation "overdraft"?

I don't think that in other countries there is a differentiation between an overdraft and a DISPO-limit. Only in Germany an overdraft (Überziehung) starts when the DISPO is exhausted.

    Suggestionauthorised overdraft limit
    Context/ examples
Thanks Werner, in Britain if you have an "authorised overdraft limit" it means that you can go overdrawn by up to that amount before you are "properly" overdrawn and charged horrendous bank fees & interest. eg.
+€1000 to €0 = account is in credit = no fee
€0 to -€100 = account is within authorised overdraft limit = no fee but you have to pay some interest charges
-€100 and below = account is overdrawn, fees, large amount of interest, nasty letters, etc.
