Eine Suche nach "duties record book" mit Google bringt 27 Treffer. Die Seiten stammen aus .de, .be, .ch, .at und die .org, .com und .net Seiten weisen ebenfalls auf nicht englische Seiten hin.

Eine Seite listet englische Begriffe für "Pflichtenheft" und "Anforderungen" aus verschiedenen Quellen, jedoch nicht nachprüfbar ob die Begriffe nicht auch Übersetzungsversuche sind.

Die beiden .uk-Stellen lauten "Daily Ward Duties Record Book" und "Clerical Duties Record Book" und sind m.E. keine Pflichtenhefte im Sinne von Spezifikationen sondern Dienstbücher in denen die (täglichen) Tätigkeiten aufgezeichnet und quittiert werden.

Da auch die angegebene Quelle aus einem Deutschen Verlag stammt, gehe ich davon aus (zumindest solange mir nicht eindeutig das Gegenteil nachgewiesen wird), dass "duties record book" im Englischen nicht für "Pflichtenheft" steht.

Ich denke, bei requirement specification weiß jeder, was gemeint ist, auch wenn in bestimmten Fachgebieten speziellere Begriffe verwendet werden. (Gedacht für Übersetzungsrichtung D->E)

In der täglichen bekommen wir immer ein "Statement of Work (SOW)" und zwar von Firmen _weltweit_. SOW entspricht Pflichtenheft.

"Requirement Description" ist zwar für jeden verständlich und rein inhaltlich vielleicht korrekt, allerdings habe ich in meinem Berufsleben nie ein Dokument mit diesem Namen bekommen.
