I am currently reading "Mother Tongue" by Bill Bryson. In chapter 13, "Swearing", he states that, among others, a characteristic trait of English cussing was to include "anatomical impossibilites". Normally, Bryson's writing is full of examples (even to the point that one fails to find the general idea in the multitude of his exemplifications -.-). However, unfortunately, Bryson fails to give any example for these "anatomical impossibilities" here, and I cannot think of any, neither.
I am sure you can help me out with some nasty proposals ;-)
