    Baby Elephant Girl Jamuna Toni

    Comment
The baby elephant recently born at Munich zoo Hellabrunn was named Jamuna Toni. Does anybody know what the name Jamuna means in English or German? I'm quite sure it was in the newspapers around Christmas, but I can't remember it.
    Thank you for your information.

I don't think there is a "meaning" of the name. It is the name of a river in India and the name of a godess as well, according to Wikipedia.
