    Hi,
is it right to call a well-known institute a "high-profile research institute" within a cover letter (BE)? Does it have a negative touch or is the meaning just as brilliant as it sounds?
Thanks a lot for your help

How about: "well respected research institute" if, as it looks, this is a formal letter. If you talk among your buddies you could say: Man, that's one high-octane outfit." :-)))
