    It's probably a real beginner's question, but still...here it is:

    Is it "preferences for" or "preferences of" in this context?

    "Preferences for/of an indivdiual decision on organ donation are at quite a high level in Germany."

    And similarly:

    "The Greek show the strongest demand for/of of state involvement."

    Preference for, demand for, desire for, use for ...

    A good printed bilingual dictionary should have these prepositions -- Pons-Collins, Oxford-Duden, Langenscheidt-Muret-Sanders (whatever, I don't have that one) ... It's worth the investment in other ways too. (-:
