on the one hand ... on the other hand

    Comment
In most cases, "on the one hand" comes at the beginning of the sentence.

Now, what about the following sentence where I place the structure in-between? Does this sound plain wrong/unnatural to native speakers?

    (1) It's a major sports event. He views it on the one hand as an opportunity to make money and on the other hand as his chance to ....

    Thank you in advance.

I consider it correct, but I am not a native speaker of English.

I consider it correct too, and I am an native speaker. You'd often hear people say something like this in e.g. a political discussion on the radio or TV.
