    Nervous

    Comment
    I'm very nervous, because I have my FCE soon. Has somebody an advice for the lastest few days?

    Stick to sentences, expressions and vocabulary you know. Mind you, dictionaries are not allowed. Thus, concentrate on spelling and expressions, e.g. don't confuse "latest" and "last". Furthermore, you might want to review countable and uncountable nouns, e.g. 'advice': it's always singular, but it's uncountable, therefore your sentence should read "...a piece of advice" (same with information).

    Concentrate on spelling... anyway, that's easier in handwriting. :-)

    Furthermore, read the tasks carefully before answering. Some questions are quite peculiar and are easily misunderstood.

    As to the Writing part, don't try to express complicated opinions. Just make something up and express it correctly, irrespective of whether this would be your real thoughts.

    (Perhaps OT... though I'm not entirely sure...;-)...Apropos the FCE, I assume "Karl" failed his in the end, then, right? (Not exactly surprising, eh?) I know from his earlier threads that he was preparing for it, and this may explain the current spate of nonsense from him on LEO ...

    Exams are next week, or perhaps this weekend, afaik.
    I think Karl might indeed scrape a 'C'. Nothing worth mentioning in an application, anyway.

    Die ersten drei Beiträge waren ja sehr hilfreich. Für den vierten und fünften habe ich nur ein Kopfschütteln übrig. Möglicherweise mit dem linken Bein aufgestanden?

    @6:
    I'm sorry if yours is a genuine query. However, the following is just the kind of thread I was referring to in my #4:

    That's precisely what I was wondering too, FCE:A!

    Be it as it may, not mentioning anything would have been most helpful. Such general suspicion doesn't suit LEO at all.

    Hier scheinen sich einige pubertierende Kindsköpfe zu befinden, welche es als sinnvolle Freizeitaktivität erachten, die Beiträge anderer zu verunstalten. Ich habe da definitiv auch nur ein Kopfschütteln übrig.
