    chopped and signed

    Comment
It means 'stamped and signed' and it's some kind of Asian style business English. Now I even came across a document that actually said [chop] on it. My question: Is that an official term somewhere?

Seems to be a going term in the entire Far East.

But does China alone constitute the "entire Far East"? I think not.

Bin mal ein paar Rechnungen durchgegangen, da steht entweder "chop & sign", "Signature and stamp", "Signature and seal", ganz viele verschiedene Varianten.

"Chopped, sealed, delivered" is killing it on ITunes. Great jam.

No need to resist, I'll check it out. :-)

Ant thanks to all for the replies so far.

So it's probably Chinese and the Chinese folks working all over Asia spread it?
