    Comment
    Hi there,

Do you say "becoming part of" or "becoming _a_ part of" (if you want to say "work for")? If both versions are OK, can you please explain what the difference is?

    Thanks! :)

    Kind regards,
    Chris

P.S.: The whole sentence is: "Becoming (a) part of has been a dream of mine since my college days."/"It has always been a dream of mine to become (a) part of ."

Becoming part of your team/company has been a dream of mine since my college days.

    Becoming a part of ...

also works; there's really no difference in meaning.
