    Ich übersetze einen Vertrag ins Englische für UK. In dem Vertrag stehen verschiedene Preise, z.B.


    4.345,51 Euro pro Monat und 0,456 Euro pro Einheit

    Wie ist die korrekte Schreibweise in BE?

    4,345.51 Euro per month and 0.456 Euro per unit?

    Besonders bei den Tausendern bin ich mir nicht sicher.

    Ja, Komma und Punkt bei Zahlen werden im Englischen (m.W. AE wie BE) genau andersherum verwendet wie in Deutschland.

    Noch eine Anmerkung: Müsste es nicht "euros" (klein und mit Plural-s) heißen?

    Müsste es, aber die Benutzung des Euro-Symbols (€) ist näherliegend und ohenhin für Silvia empfehlenswert.

    Also (in English):

    the currency abbreviation EUR precedes the amount (and is followed by a hard
    space);

    the symbol € also precedes the amount (and is followed by a thin space).

    actually, hard space is a particular form of "word space", the traditional term
