Do German kids build things with Eisstiele?

Es gab vor Jahrzehnten mal irgendeine Sorte Eis mit speziellen Kunststoffstielen mit Löchern und Nuten, die man sammeln und dann als Baukastensystem verwenden konnte. Hab ich noch gut vor Augen: Man konnte zwei Stiele ineinander stecken und dann so verdrehen, dass sie sich fest miteinander verklemmten. Wenn man genügend Stiele hatte, konnte man auf die Weise alles Mögliche bauen.

Da das Deutsche erlaubt, Wörter durch Zusammensetzung nach Bedarf zu bilden, kann nicht jedes einzelne dieser Komposita im Wörterbuch stehen. Was ein Eisstiel ist, ist im Kontext klar, auch ohne Dudeneintrag. Wie häufig dieses Wort gebraucht wird, hängt davon ab, wie oft man meint, den Stiel eines "Eis am Stiel" explizit benennen zu müssen. Ein anderes, eindeutiges Wort dafür kenne ich nicht.

Ähnliche Wörter, die jeder Deutschsprachige bei Bedarf ad hoc bildet und jeder andere sofort versteht, die aber keinen Dudeneintrag haben, wären zum Beispiel:

Schubladengriff, Tastaturkabel, Blumentopfuntersetzer, Flaschenschraubdeckel, Glühlampengewinde, Kugelschreiberfeder, Marmeladenlöffel, Seifenspenderpumpe, ...

Die Liste ließe sich beliebig fortsetzen.

But what about someone coming from English? I would not have known the German for "lollipop stick" or "lolly stick" (both BE, and both apparently used in connection with craft activities).

In fact Leo doesn't actually have an entry for "ice lolly" -- it only appears in a couple of threads.

I've just noticed that it does give "iced-lolly"(for Eis am Stiel); I don't think anyone says that.

Nor is there an entry for "Stieleis", so an English speaker wouldn't be able, for instance, to discover whether it has a plural (as in: She had spent all her money on ice lollies / I bought three ice lollies. How would you say that?).

There is certainly room for improvement here.
