    Forthcoming publications in CV

    Comment

I am applying to a job in Germany and want to bring an updated CV to the interview. Since I originally submitted my application, I've had an academic article accepted by a prestigious journal. This would be an easy thing to add to my English CV – I would just list it under "publications", with a note that it is forthcoming, e.g. "Forthcoming in June 2019: 'A Study of LEO Forum Posts', The Journal of Internet Research, Issue 6/2019".

Is there an equivalent way to do this on a German CV, or would it be frowned upon to list a publication that has been accepted, but hasn't actually appeared yet?

Das ist - zumindest in den Naturwissenschaften - ganz normal. Ich kenne das wie folgt:

'A Study of LEO Forum Posts', The Journal of Internet Research, Issue 6/2019, im Druck

Thanks, Mattes! If any scholars in the arts & humanities could confirm that this is true for those fields too, I'd be very grateful.

Das kann man sogar direkt unter den anderen Publikationen aufführen. Vielleicht auch so:

Marie_53 (im Druck) A Study of LEO Forum Posts. The Journal of Internet Research (erscheint in Band 6, 2019)

re #2: Das gilt auch für Geisteswissenschaften, ja.
