I tend to think that most of those english pick-up lines you've seen are translated from german. Maybe it's time for you guys to start thinking of something all by yourselves.

Vielleicht könnte ich helfen, wenn ich nur wüsste, was pick-up lines sind.

pick-up lines sind Anmachsprueche, Aufreissverse oder wie auch immer man das jetzt bezeichnet. Also die Sprueche, die man draufhaben muss , um abends und am Wochenende beim Sozialisieren erfolgreich zu sein.

Also zB "Hallo, Du auch hier ?"

gibt es nicht auf DE sowas wie
"möchtest du meine Briefmarkensammlung sehen?"

Willst Du noch mit raufkommen, oder willst Du nur einen Kaffee trinken...


Glaubst Du an Liebe auf den ersten Blick oder soll ich noch mal vorbei kommen


Or, the one I think works best, and doesn't make you look like quite so much of a desparate loser, "Möchtest Du noch was trinken?" and then take it from there.

Then again, if you're female and your target audience are males, you'll probably get away with something along the lines of "Hallo, ich studiere Soziologie und mache gerade ein praktisches Experiment darüber wie deutsche Männer küssen. Hättest Du Lust eine Testperson zu sein?"

The pick-up line that Richard suggested really does work if you are a girl!
My friend and I studied in Germany for a year and when a little drunk she approached a German guy and came out with the following line
"You know, I´ve been studying German for 3 years and have never kissed a German guy, I don´t think I can honestly say I have a rounded education!"
They spent the rest of the night together!!

also ich war ja mal ganz beglückt, als nach dem obligatorischen auf/ab-Blick "machst du Sport?" kam.
Das funktioniert bestimmt auch bei Männern.
War aber in meinem Fall ein bisschen ein non-starter, ich seh nämlich nur so aus, halte es bei Sport aber eher mit Churchill.

Beste Anmache, die ich je erlebt habe: Typ kam einfach vorbei, drückte mir einen Drink in die Hand und sagte "Halt mal kurz."
Ich starrte ihm völlig irritiert nach bis er 3 min zurück kam und sagte "So, jetzt können wir anstoßen".
Ist aber wohl eher eine Masche als ein Spruch...
