Äh, was genau hat deine Lehrerin gesagt? Dass "successfully" am Satzende eigentlich "successful" heißen sollte?

Ich verstehe zwar ehrlich gesagt nicht ganz, was du fragst bzw. was deine Lehrerin gemeint hat, aber bei deinem Beispielsatz brauchst du das Adverb 'successfully', weil damit das Verb 'finished' näher beschrieben wird.

Bis auf wenige Ausnahmen, die du sicher schon in der Schule gelernt hast (und wenn nicht, bald lernen wirst), hat ein Adverb immer 'ly' hinten drangehängt.

We have finished the job successfully.
We have successfully finished the job.

Both are good. In the first sentence, the emphasis is on "successfully": "We have finished the job SUCCESSFULLY". In the second, the emphasis is on "finished": "We have successfully FINISHED THE JOB".

Adverbs (end with -ly) go with normal verbs of action: I work slowly, I drink slowly, I run slowly, I read slowly. They tell you about the action (working).
Adjectives (no -ly) go with verbs of state: I am slow, I seem slow, I sound slow. They tell you about the person (I).

Linda, Deine Lehrerin hat sicher gemeint, daß Adverbien der Art und Weise (Wie - erfolgreich) und auch Adverbien des Ortes meist am Satzende stehen.
