    Comment
und in welchem Zusammenhang wird es benutzt.
Ich meine es im Zusammenhang von "Durcheinander" (sorry for the hick-up) gehört zu haben

    m-w.com:

3 a: a slight irregularity, error, or malfunction "a few hiccups in the computer system" b: a usually minor and short-lived interruption or disruption, or change "a hiccup in the stock market"

It exists, but it is spelled hiccup or hiccough. Dictionary: hiccup
I would say that "sorry for the hiccup" means "sorry for the short term, unavoidable (or minorly annoying) problems", rather than for a Durcheinander, though.
