    Ich bräuchte Hilfe bei der Übersetzung dieses traditionellen Weihnachtsliedes.

    a) Was bedeutet "away in a manger"?
    b) Was bedeutet "Til morning is nigh" (vielleicht altenglisch für "near")?

    manger = Krippe: Dictionary: manger
    also in etwa: ganz weit weg, in einer Krippe

    nigh = nahe: Dictionary: nigh
    also: bis zum Morgen

    Leider kann ich nicht dichten, aber das transportiert zumindest den Sinn.
