    Was heißt Stockmaß auf Englisch? Also die Größe vom Pferd vom Boden an einem Stock gemessen bis zum Widerrist. Mich interessiert vor allem die Bedeutung in American English.

    Fuer solche Fragen gibt es das "English missing" Forum ... und es empfiehlt sich oft auch im Archiv und in den Foren zu suchen ...

    Dann will ich heute mal gutmütig sein:

    Stockmaß = Widerristhöhe = withers height = beim Pferd speziell angegeben in 'hands high'
