    I don't know, I've forgotten!!

    The doctors looking after my father just pronounced it with an "s" instead of the "z", i.e. Alsheimer

    In the US its pronounced "Alshighmer". My old aunt used to mispronounce it as "Oldtimers" disease !

    I used to say "old timer's" too, because that's what I thought everyone else was saying. :-o Then again, I thought Madonna was singing, "I'm a Cheerio girl."
