    English missing

    Ich kann dich wirklich verstehen

    Subject

    Ich kann dich wirklich verstehen

    Sources
    I want to say:

Ich kann Dich wirklich verstehen, dass Du sauer auf mich bist.

    Is this version correct:
I can really understand you, that you're upset with me.

    Or:
I can really understand, that you're upset with me.

So I'm wondering, if the "you" is correct?

    Thanks a lot!

I believe the 'you' is redundant and also the comma (in English less is more). ;-)

Another example: 'I completely understand you're being mad at me.'

Thank you!!! but now I'm confused. Can't it also be:

I completely understand you being mad at me.

Im ersten Beispiel 'I can really understand you, that you're upset with me.' ist das erste 'you' falsch = 'I can really understand that you're upset with me.' ist o.k. (but the 'are' or 're' is needed)

    O.K.?

'I (completely) understand you (being) mad at me.' - fine in a rap song, but not correct English - methinks.
