    Pins and needles in AE might be more descriptive, for the moment when your foot stops being asleep and starts coming back to life and it hurts briefly.

    You could also say your foot was numb, but that could also be from cold or some other reason.


    I don't think we would say someone's foot fell asleep, would we?

    Googel mal 'foot fell asleep' oder 'feet fall asleep' - wird offensichtlich auch verwendet.
