    hello friends,
    is it OK to say something like "komm eins, kommt alle" or something similar in german?
    any help greatly appreciated.

    No, it isn't.

    Most likely, you would say something like

    "Sehr verehrtes Publikum, hereinspaziert ..."

    (like an old-time circus or carnival announcer)

    thanks for the replies.
    i like the sound of both.
    i have a follow up question, though

    is #1 a standard/well-known phrase or something you just made up?

    @3:

    Well, AFAIK #1 is not a "well-known" or "standard" phrase ...

    In particular, "alles und jeder" seems a little odd to me in this context.

    thanks for that. the "alles" had been troubling me also.

    i have now changed things around a bit to use the circus analagy and plumped for the hereinspaziert.
