Im Prinzip. Im konkreten Satzzusammenhang würde ich aber vielleicht komplett anders formulieren, Vorschlag:

Edit um 18:00 Uhr: Oder, noch eine Idee:

... debited from the applicant's account and credited to the respondent's account.

Bin aber zugegebenermaßen kein native speaker.
