Diesen Bruchstücken tut Kontext immer gut, aber möglich wäre umgangssprachlich zum Beispiel:

Klingt koscher.

In AE "legit" is often used to mean "genuine."

For example, "Bob is a fine basketball player and seems a legit candidate to play professionally."

You can choose the appropriate German word better than I can--but I propose "echt."
