    English missing

    Darf's ein Bisschen mehr sein?

    Subject

    Darf's ein Bisschen mehr sein?

    Context/ examples
Die typische Situation an der Wursttheke: Man wollte 200 Gramm Salami und jetzt sind es 220 Gramm geworden. Und dann sagt die Verkäuferin eben diesen Satz.
Weiß jemand wie man das auf Englisch sagt?

    220 grams. Is that ok?

Is the only thing I've heard.

    Suggestion(Is) A little over ok/all right?

A familiar situation. Ruth's version is common too. Now that she's mentioned it, I'm even wondering whether it may in practice be replacing the version I grew up with, now that accurate digital scales are widespread.

Dont't they normally ask 'Over or under?' as a shorter form of 'Is a little more ok or should I take some off?'

But then it's a long time since I last stood at a deli counter...

Thaks a lot. In German, the sentence is very often used figuratively. Therefore the second version is more suitable.
