    auf der Tonspur rüberbringen

    Context/ examples

Bist Du sicher?

It seems to be saying that part of the presentation was pre-recorded and could simply be played back, doesn't it?

"auf der Tonspur rüberbringen" is a colloquial saying, which came up in recent years. It has nothing at all to do with a recorded sound track. It actually means that a presenter speaks LIVE!

SuggestionTo verbally add / bring across / verbally explain / comment [Amer.]

1:1 translation can't be applied (have tried it ;) but what you are trying to say is that you want to explain something verbally that is not on the slides.
