    Guten Morgen,

    ich bin dabei ein Artikel zu schreiben, und möchte im Text zu ein Bild auf der Seite hinweisen. z.B. "See picture 1".

    Wegen Platzprobleme; Wie kurz man picture ab? Pic.1 ? oder Pict.1 ?

    Für Vorschläge bin ich dankbar.

    Fig. 1 (figure 1 = Abbildung 1)

    "Picture" würde ich gar nicht abkürzen.

    agree with penguin.

    pict or, more commonly, pic are only used in very informal contexts.

    Photo is shorter, if they ARE photos...;-)
