    In der Fernsehreportage wurde ein Mitarbeiter des Kernkraftwerkes über die Sicherheitsmängel an seinem Arbeitsplatz interviewt, allerdings wurden sein Gesicht und seine Stimme unkenntlich gemacht, um seine Anonymität zu wahren.

    In the TV-report an employee of the nuclear power station was interviewed about the insufficient safety in his workplace, however his face and his voice had been disguised(?) (garbled?) (blurred?) in order to keep his anonymity.

    Was wäre hier korrekt?

    I think you would use one word for the face and a different one for the voice. To use a word that would be fairly neutral for both, maybe "unrecognizable".

    ... his face and his voice were made/rendered unrecognizable ...

    I would not hyphenate "TV report".

    'Disguise' is fine, but you could also say 'blur' for the face, or something like alter, make anonymous, make unrecognizable.

    Nein, disfigure geht hier auf keinen Fall; man entstellt/verunstaltet diese Personen doch nicht, weder gesichts- noch stimmenmäßig

    "blacked out" sagt man normalerweise für das Gesicht.

    Für die Stimme heißt es aber was anderes.

    Wie heißt denn diese Art von Verfremdung durch spiralförmige Verdrehung des Bildes, die ein Erpresser benutzt hattte, dem man aber durch Rekonstruktion des Bildes doch auf die Schliche kam?
