    OT, @dude, if you have a PC keyboard, hold down the "Alt" key and use the numeric keyboard to enter "0128". That gets you €.

    Continued OT: Web search suggests two possibilities for the Mac:
    1) Alt 2
    2) Alt-Shift 2

    One should get you €; the other should be ™.

    My wife has a Mac, so I guess I could try it on hers, but I think I'll just leave it at that.

    Wenn es ohne den Klammeraffen gehen soll: Reicht nicht "4 h at 40€" ? (Sitting in front of a Mac with a Swiss keyboard, the € is alt+e)
