I too doubt that the original poster will come back. I'm not even sure he or she ever really wanted advice, since he or she seemed bent on not using 'nothing interesting.'

Just for the record, though, it seems to me that in a completely ordinary context like marketing, there's nothing wrong with 'nothing interesting.' It's the most normal, standard translation, not slangy or colloquial or anything.

'Out there' doesn't seem right, because that would mean in the entire market at large, whereas 'dabei' seems to mean among a particular group of products. But just 'there' alone would be okay: 'There's nothing interesting there.' Or 'here' if the products are with you, close enough to see or touch.
