oops sorry. der beispielsatz war eigentlich als kommentar gedacht. mir geht es nur um einen passenden spruch als sms.

Sag mal wo hast du denn Englisch gelernt. Wenn man sich deine Beitraege so anschaut koennte man meinen du ueberhaupt nicht. Nicht boes gemeint.

Ja und n bisl mitdenken is manchmal auch ganz gut. War doch eindeutig, dass das kein Beispielsatz war, sondern ne Erklärung.

"My thoughts are with you/will be with you" may be correct but strikes me more as what you might say when thinking of someone who is going through a tough patch, e.g., funeral...

"Thinking about you" sounds to me as if you're considering somebody, weighing them up, thinking what you think about them - it's not particularly positive or friendly, at least, not as a text message, and I'm not sure when you'd use it. It's also much longer than "thinking of you".

"Thinking of you" is a common phrase, signifying to me "you're in my thoughts", "I'm aware of what you're going through at the moment" - it's supportive and sympathetic, not judgemental, and you might send it as a text to somebody you're concerned about, just to let them know you care.

Others may disagree.

So what you are saying is that 'thinking about you' is more like contemplating. As in 'I'm thinking about it', which means you are pondering an issue rather then having fond thoughts about someone.

Yes, I think that's what I'm saying. Not something you'd usually put in a text to somebody, anyway.
