Hier ist ein Hinweis, was dort "hergestellt" wird. Aber "soil production" funktioniert nicht, denn das ist die natürliche Erdgenerierung durch Erosion u.s.w.

Erdenwek seems to cover almost everything from landscape gardening to mining for minerals and precious stones.I've found a word in google ( only 900 hits )that i don't know but maybe helps "earthworking" companies appear to do the same sort of jobs as in Erdenwerk.

The "Erdenwerke" are producing soils of different qualities by the composting of organic wastes and plant remains.
Composting is the decomposition of plant remains and other once-living materials to make an earthy, dark, crumbly substance that is excellent for adding to houseplants or enriching garden soil. For some qualities of soils the compost factories add a certain amount of peat.
Composting on an industrial level is a big help to reduce substancially the mountains of waste that would have to be burried else in landscapes or burned in waste processing plants.
