    The part (Knochen?) is a bracket that kind of looks like a wrench with a hook-shaped appendage... but it is not a tool, so I don't think "dogbone wrench" would work... does anyone have any ideas???

    SuggestionAfter installing the compressed air tank, adjust the cross connection’s hexagon locking nuts so that there is a center-to-center distance of 1,100 mm.

    I don't have a clue, but I did find

    dumbbell spanner (Br.) / dumbbell wrench

    in another source. Would that work?

    Second attempt; in the OP you mentioned a bracket that I overlooked in my first attempt:


    After installing the compressed air tank, adjust the cross connection’s hexagon locking nuts

    so that there is a distance of 1,100 mm between both centers of the brackets‘ jaw openings.


    Make sense? Or are we at least getting there?


    This Knochen thingy - does it look somewhat similar to a Maulschlüssel?

    @ RES-can: nope, does not look like that, that looks like a Dogbone wrench, which I already ruled out...

    @ blaugast: actually, it does look a bit like a Maulschlüssel!

    @ Leonhard : seeing as it dows look like a wrench, your last suggestion might actually work!
