    Sorry - can't write too much straight from the text, as it's confidential, but it's about dealing with complaints from patients, and basically states that if a complainant is not happy with their written response, then they may have a personal discussion "unter Beteiligung der Geschaeftsfuehrung und bei Bedarf von Mitgliedern der Betriebsleitung"

    What would be the difference between the Geschaeftsfuehrung and the Betriebsleitung in a German hospital? Would the Geschaeftsfuehrung be the hospital director (as in administrative/non-clinical) and the Betriebsleitung be the Chefaerzte of the various departments? I'm not too sure as to how to distinguish between them.
    I need to translate into BE.

    Betrieb ~ alles, was sich auf einem Firmengelaende befindet; wenn eine Firma in zwei Staedten vertreten ist, besteht sie aus zwei Betrieben (stark verkuerzt, vielleciht koennen unsere Juristen und Arbeitswissenschaftler mit der exakten Definition aushelfen)

    Betriebsleitung ~> fuehrt den Betrieb (~ local chief operating officer and team)
    Geschaeftsleitung ~> fuehrt die Geschaefte (~ CEO and team)

    I don't know a real translation, but perhaps the above distinction will give you an idea ...

    ??????Bin mir aber nicht hundertprozentig sicher, nur so als Anregung!
